This two-part workshop workshop — suitable for beginners — introduces basic design principles for successful collagraph print design. Learn how to create highly textured impressionistic prints using a collage of recycled materials. Participants will have the opportunity to print several copies of their original collagraph printing plate. All tools and materials supplied for use during the workshop.
Week 1 (Mar 4): Designing and collaging our plates
Week 2 (Mar 11): Touchups, varnishing, and printing
