Perfect for beginners and those with some experience — this watercolour series will introduce simple essential techniques including colour mixing, layering washes, lifting, using masking fluid, and more. We will complete several small paintings (with a focus on animals/wildlife) during this session. The Exploring Watercolour series is ongoing. Participants may register for months that suit their schedule, or continue with this series to develop and improve their technique over time.
Most tools and materials are supplied for use during the workshop. A list of a few additional items will be sent out by email ahead of the session (such as a small portfolio or portable expandable file to store your artwork and a small mixed media sketchbook for notes and technique practice).
Workshops are held in-person in Kemptville, Ontario, Canada.
