Collection: Linocut

Linocut prints are created by hand carving a piece of linoleum using a range of tool shapes. Once carved, the block is inked using a brayer. A sheet of paper is placed overtop of the inked block and is smoothed with a barren. This ensures the ink is fully transferred to the paper. The block is re-inked before each print. Each piece is one-of-a-kind due to subtle variations in the way the ink transfers.
